Michael Knox - I’m a lifelong gun enthusiast. Taught to shoot by my father, grandfather and great uncle. I enjoy shooting whenever possible. I’ve spent several decades working in logistics and supply chain roles.
Linda Knox - I’m a firearms enthusiast and enjoy shooting at the range with my husband, family, and friends. I come from a military family. My father retired from the US Army and my brother retired from the US Air Force. So, I’m just an Army brat!! My love of shooting and shooting sports led me to start L&M Guns and Gear along with my husband in the summer of 2022. I felt like gun owners needed a place where they could come for personal service and honest answers to their questions. I feel a connection with all the lady gun owners who want to find the right gun without being pressured by a pushy salesman. It’s great to meet and chat with new customers.
As we both get closer to retirement, we decided we wanted our own business that would fit our lifestyle. Attending an NRA convention and getting to speak with dozens of manufactures and other business owners convinced us that the firearms business was for us. Our long-term goal is to have a store and range that can provide training and host all kinds of competitive shooting sports.
